We have an immediate opportunity
in our Creative Services Department for a skilled
graphic designer to support our packaging design
and global sales and marketing communication programs
Requirements
- We are looking for a creative, motivated self-starter
with strong design skills who can work well
as part of a small team. Excellent communication
skills and a positive attitude are also keys
to success.
- Candidates should have an Associate or Bachelor
degree in Graphic Design or related field.
- Candidates should have at least one year of
work experience in graphic design. Recent college
graduates with summer internship or related
work experience also welcome.
- Strong working knowledge of graphics software
in a PC environment, including Quark Xpress,
Freehand, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop,
is required. Experience with Corel Draw and
Dreamwearver is a plus. Note: Candidates will
need to demonstrate proficiency during the interview
process.
Responsibilities
- Projects will include, but are not limited
to, the design of: product labels, outer packaging,
instruction sheet layout, and product packaging
inserts.
- This position will be responsible for creating
all packaging components for new products. Graphic
Designer will work with the Global Marketing
Department to bring packaging concepts into
reality.
- Graphic Designer will also work with QA/QC
to ensure product packaging conforms to FDA
and quality standards.
- Graphic Designer is also responsible for maintaining
and revising all current packaging design files,
working with the Purchasing department and packaging
vendors as needed to resolve problems and issues.
- Candidates must be able to multi-task, manage
multiple projects at one time, and meet project
deadlines.
- Additional projects will include, but are
not limited to, designing advertisements, sales
pieces, direct marketing pieces, tradeshow booth
graphics and assisting with website changes
and additions.
Relocation expenses will not be covered. We offer
