Self-Cured Posterior Composite

Bisfil II is a highly filled, self-cured posterior hybrid composite.  It is a convenient paste-paste system which is available in a universal shade.  This rapid setting composite is ideal for placing a restoration as in the “Directed Shrinkage Technique.”

Unique Benefits

  • Rapid setting time eliminates time spent with incremental placement of light-cured materials
  • Self-cured composite does not cause shrinkage stress like light-cured composites during the curing process, and maintains excellent marginal integrity
  • Offers high tensile and compressive strength for effective posterior function
  • High viscosity enable the dentist to pack the material into the cavity with ease
  • Highly filled composite, 84% by weight offers exceptional wear resistance
  • Radiopaque composite can easily be identified on radiographs

Clinical Significance

  • Bisfill II is a strong composite that can be packed in the cavity preparation up to the DEJ, or to the occlusal cavosurface for a complete self-cure composite restoration
