Unlike other single component adhesives, ONE-STEP bonds to
a multitude of dental substrates including self-cured composites. The ONE-STEP
formulation (Patent #s 5,658,963 and 5,749,753) utilizes some of the same
chemistry found in ALL-BOND® 2, particularly BPDM (Patent # 5,348,988) the
hydrophilic monomer with the double benzene ring for greater freedom of
rotation and better adhesion. Due to its low film thickness (10-20 µm) ONE-STEP
can be used successfully in both direct and indirect bonding procedures.
