1. Clean the entire
surface with a slurry of pumice and a disinfectant such
as CAVITY CLEANSER* or water.
2. Etch remaining coronal tooth structure using an etchant,
such as ETCH-37* or UNI-ETCH®*,
according to manufacturer's instructions.
3. Apply an adhesive, such as ALL-BOND 2 or ONE-STEP,
according to the manufacturer's instructions.
4. Dispense an equal
amount of CORE-FLO Base and Catalyst pastes onto
a mixing pad. Mix to a uniform paste (10-15 seconds).
Do not over mix to avoid incorporation of air. Avoid
the use of metal instruments for mixing which may discolor
the material.
5. Fill a Low Viscosity*
syringe tip with the composite and inject into the preparation
and around the post, if present. Continue to build until
cavity preparation is filled to the desired level. Due
to the flowable consistency of CORE-FLO, placement
with a hand instrument is not recommended.
Refer to manufacturer's instructions. Not all one-bottle
adhesives bond to dual-cured or self-cured composites.
