DUAL-SYRINGE DISPENSER

GENERAL INFORMATION

The BISCO DUAL-SYRINGE DISPENSER is designed for use with all of BISCO’s Dual-Syringe Products. The DUAL-SYRINGE DISPENSER allows the user to dispense materials of higher viscosity through an auto-mixing tip with ease and precision.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Loading the Dual-Syringe into the Dispenser:

1. Position the Dispenser’s plunger to accept a Dual-Syringe cartridge by pushing up on the release lever located on the rear of the Dispenser. While the plunger release is pushed up the plunger is able to slide back and forth freely. Pull the plunger all the way back.

2. Remove the plunger from the back of the Dual-Syringe cartridge that will be placed in the Dispenser. Accomplish this by pulling back on the plunger firmly. Retain this manual plunger for dispensing material without the Dispenser.

3. The Dual-Syringe cartridge fits into the Dispenser only one way. When viewed from the side, orient the cartridge to match the slot on the front of the Dispenser. Slide the cartridge into the Dispenser until you hear a click. The click ensures that the cartridge is fully seated and locked into place.

Removing the Dual-Syringe cartridge cap and attaching the mixing tip:

1. To remove the cartridge cap, turn it 90-degrees counterclockwise and pull it off.

2. Before placing the mixing tip on the Dual-Syringe cartridge, squeeze the handle of the Dispenser until a small amount of material flows from both barrels of the Dual-Syringe cartridge and wipe onto a mixing pad. This is to ensure a homogenous mixture of material.

3. Select a mixing tip.

4. Align the small v-shaped tab on the base of the mixing tip with the v-shaped notch on the Dual-Syringe. Push the mixing tip onto the Dual-Syringe and turn the barrel 90-degrees in a clockwise direction.

5. Dispense the desired amount of material by repeatedly squeezing the handle.

Removal and Storage:

TO PREVENT POLYMERIZATION OR CLOGGING, THE DUAL-SYRINGE MIXING TIP SHOULD BE LEFT IN PLACE UNTIL THE NEXT APPLICATION. IF USED INTRAORALLY, IT SHOULD BE WIPED WITH DISINFECTANT PRIOR TO STORAGE.

1. To remove the Dual-Syringe from the Dispenser, push the plunger release lever up and fully retract the plunger. Slide the Dual-Syringe out of the Dispenser. It should slide freely, otherwise lift the release lever once again, pull back on the plunger and make certain that it is fully retracted.

THE DISPENSER MAY BE CLEANED WITH LIQUID DISINFECTANTS OR STERILIZED IN A STEAM AUTOCLAVE. DO NOT STERILIZE IN DRY HEAT OR CHEMICAL STERILIZER.
