BISCO PIT AND FISSURE SEALANT
Light-Cured

BISCO PIT and FISSURE SEALANT is a light cured, filled, radiopaque, white sealant designed to seal the pits and fissures of caries susceptible teeth.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE
1. Clean the surfaces of the teeth to be sealed with prophy paste or pumice. Rinse thoroughly. Isolate the teeth to be sealed with a rubber dam or cotton rolls.
2. Place a small amount of ETCH-37™ (37% H3PO4) on the surface of the tooth using the disposable angled syringe tip and manipulate the etchant into the pits and fissures.
3. Allow the etchant to remain on the tooth for 15 seconds. Thoroughly rinse the etchant with a generous water spray. Remove pooled water with an oil-free stream of compressed air. Isolation of the etched surface is paramount to the success of the procedure.
4. SHAKE SEALANT BOTTLE WELL BEFORE DISPENSING. The disposable black dispenser tips can be placed directly on the sealant bottle to dispense SEALANT, or use the supplied brushes. Place a thin layer of sealant on the etched areas of the tooth.
5. Cure the sealant for at least 20 seconds on each surface. For thicker or larger applications, longer exposures are desirable.
6. Check the applied sealant both visually and with an explorer. If any part of the sealant can be dislodged by the explorer, contamination of the etched surface has occurred. Remove the dislodged sealant and repeat the entire procedure beginning with step 1 above.
7. Check occlusion after the sealant has been cured and adjust for any premature contact.

STORAGE: Store at room temperature (22°C/72°F). See individual component labels for specific expiration dates.

CAUTIONS: ETCH-37 contains phosphoric acid. Avoid splashing into the eyes. If etchants come in contact with the eyes, flush with copious amounts of water and seek medical attention. Unpolymerized resins may cause skin sensitization in susceptible persons. In case of contact with the skin, wash thoroughly with soap and water.
