INTRODUCING PATENTED BISBLOCK
DENTIN DESENSITIZER FROM BISCO

BISCO, the leader in adhesive and composite technology, is pleased to announce a safe, tissue friendly, dentin desensitizer with our patented technique designed to stop sensitivity deep within the dentinal tubule. BisBlock Oxalate Dentin Desensitizer is specifically formulated to prevent intratubular, hydroscopic, or hydrodynamic fluid movement within the dentinal tubules. Because of BisBlock's patented procedure, oxalate crystals penetrate deep down the tubules, interacting with calcium ions to form calcium oxalate crystals. Once sealed with ONE-STEP® PLUS adhesive and coated with BisCover™ aesthetic polish, BisBlock can not be dislodged by toothbrush abrasion. BisBlock does not interfere with adhesive bond strength when used with low ph adhesives for indirect and direct restorations. BisBlock's viscous solution and yellow hue aids in placement on the dentin. BisBlock is indicated for indirect or direct restorations, temporary restoration, and exposed root surfaces on superficial dentin.

INTRODUCING BISCOVER
BRUSH-ON LIQUID POLISH FROM BISCO

Bisco is proud to introduce BisCover Liquid Polish, a truly unique product that incorporates new polymer technology. BisCover gives a high luster finish to all composite restorations, provisional bis-acryl restorations and processed acrylic appliances. BisCover is brushed on and light-cured to a hard, smooth polished surface without any sticky air-inhibited layer. This technology allows intra- and extra-oral use without the unpleasant odors of glazes containing MMA solvent.

The unique use of a Viscosity Modifier allows BisCover to be thinned for covering large restorations or acrylic appliances. BisCover reduces or eliminates messy, costly and time consuming polishing steps. BisCover Liquid Polish will increase patient satisfaction and has been developed as an ideal product for every dental practice.

BisCover is available in 5ml bottles and 1ml syringes.

BISCO INTRODUCES TYRIAN SPE,
A UNIVERSAL NO-RINSE SELF-PRIMING ETCHANT SYSTEM

BISCO has introduced TYRIAN SPE, a universal, no-rinse, self-priming etchant intended to be used with BISCO's single bottle adhesives, ONE-STEP® or ONE-STEP® PLUS. TYRIAN SPE is also effective when used with ALL-BOND® 2. Until the introduction of TYRIAN SPE, the self-etching products were limited to use only with light-cured materials. The TYRIAN/ONE-STEP system is universal in its application, bonding light-cured, dual-cured and self-cured composites and cements for direct and indirect restorations. The sheer bond strengths achieved with TYRIAN and ONE-STEP are equal to those achieved with conventional phosphoric acid and ONE-STEP in both enamel and dentin.

TYRIAN SPE does not employ the "wet-bonding" technique, so the question of "How moist is moist?" is eliminated. Since there is no need to rinse TYRIAN SPE after etching, chair time is reduced. The unique purple color assures a complete mix and complete coverage of the preparation. The color disappears as TYRIAN SPE interacts with tooth structure and excess is blotted.

TYRIAN SPE is available in both self-mixing unit-dose and two bottle systems.

BISCO ANNOUNCES INTRODUCTION
OF A FILLED VERSION OF ITS UNIVERSAL ONE-BOTTLE ADHESIVE

Bisco has introduced ONE-STEP® PLUS, a filled version of its 5th generation, single bottle adhesive. Many single bottle adhesives do not bond well or require a second component when used with self-cured or dual-cured restorative materials. ONE-STEP PLUS, like ONE-STEP, has been shown to bond to light-cured, dual-cured and self-cured materials. ONE-STEP PLUS now combines the same bonding ability with the benefits of a filled adhesive.

Because of its minimal and uniform film thickness, ONE-STEP PLUS is designed for use in bonding indirect as well as direct restorations. With ability to bond to self-cured materials, ONE-STEP PLUS can be used in "directed shrinkage" composite restorations and with dual-cured and self-cured core materials. ONE-STEP PLUS can also be used to desensitize roots and crown preparations.

ONE-STEP PLUS is supplied in a newly designed bottle that provides greater control when dispensing. The bottle also features a unique agitator. This insures that the filler is dispersed evenly throughout the use of the bottle, from the first drop to the last.
