BISCO's patented (U.S. Patents: 5,328,372 & 4,738,616) D.T. LIGHT-POST^®, LIGHT-POST^®, Fiber Posts (ÆSTHETI-PLUS^™, ÆSTHETI-POST^™, C-POST^™) and U.M. ÆSTHETI-PLUS^™ are constructed from unidirectional, pre-tensed fibers bound in an epoxy resin matrix. This design produces a post with flexural strength exceeding that of metal posts but provides a modulus of elasticity very close to that of dentin. The low modulus dissipates stress rather than transferring and concentrating stress in the residual root structure as with cast or prefabricated metal posts. Clinical trials demonstrate a success rate of 99.9% at 3-7 years¹.

D.T. LIGHT-POST (Double-Taper Radiopaque Translucent Fiber Post): The D.T. LIGHT-POST features a double-taper design that provides adaptation to a prepared canal. Fiber optic construction allows light to be transmitted through the post so it can be cemented with light-cured or dual-cured materials. The translucency allows the post to be used under all restorations without masking or opaquers. Radiopacity allows the post to be seen clearly on a radiograph.

U.M. ÆSTHETI-PLUS (Tapered, Aesthetic Fiber Post):

ÆSTHETI-POST (Aesthetic Carbon Fiber Post):
This unique post features a carbon fiber core and tooth-colored mineral sheath. It is the easy choice for anterior or posterior cases requiring an aesthetic, porcelain or composite restoration. Radiopaque cement provides a radiographic outline of the post.

C-POST (Carbon Fiber Post):
This all-carbon black fiber post contains barium for extra radiopacity. It is best utilized for metal/ceramic or all-metal restorations.
