Anterior Composites - Quantium
An anterior composite restorative procedure uses dental composite to restore anterior teeth with a focus on esthetics, shade matching, polishability and natural translucency.
BISCO Recommends
All-Bond Universal® and Quantium® Composite are indicated for direct anterior restorations. All-Bond Universal promotes adhesion to enamel and dentin, while Quantium provides a light-cure composite system with a range of body, enamel, and incisal shades designed for incremental layering and esthetic characterization.

STEP 1
Shade select
Select the desired Quantium shades prior to isolating and preparing the tooth. Clean, rinse and isolate.
STEP 2
Apply adhesive
Apply an adhesive using the bonding technique of choice (ex. All-Bond Universal) following manufacturer’s instructions.
STEP 3
Dispense composite
Dispense desired amount of Quantium body shade onto a mixing pad by turning the syringe handle clockwise. If using unit dose tips, inject Quantium directly into the preparation. Place Quantium in 1-2 mm increments into the preparation up to the dentin enamel junction. Light cure each increment with a curing light for 20 seconds.
STEP 4
Layer Composite
Select the desired amount of Quantium enamel shade. Place Quantium in 1-2 mm increments. Light cure each increment for 20 seconds.
STEP 5
Place Composite
Place Quantium Incisal for the incisal edge in 1-2 mm increments. Light cure each increment for 20 seconds.
