Post Cementation - Core-Flo
The post cementation with core build up procedure places a post within a treated root canal and builds a core to retain and support a final restoration on severely damage teeth.

Universal Primer and Core-Flo™ DC or DC Lite are indicated for post cementation and core build-up procedures. The adhesive supports adhesion and sealing within the canal, while Core-Flo offers dual-cure polymerization, flowable delivery for canal placement, and high strength to support post retention and core build-up.

STEP 1
Total Etch
If using the Total Etch Technique, etch the canal with Uni-Etch® or Select HV® Etch for 15 seconds. If using the Self Etch Technique, proceed to the next step.
STEP 2
Clean and irrigate
Clean and irrigate. Rinse canal with water. Remove excess water with a brief burst of air and paper point(s) to remove the pooled water from the canal.
STEP 4
Endodontic Brush
With an endodontic brush, apply and scrub 2 separate coats at Universal Primer into the canal. Remove excess pooling of material with paper points and light suction. Gently air dry.
STEP 5
Coat
Coat the post with Universal Primer. Air Dry.
STEP 6
Inject
Inject Core-Flo™ DC or Core-Flo™ DC Lite into the canal.
STEP 7
Coat
Coat the apical end of the post with Core-Flo™ DC or Core-Flo™ DC Lite. Seat the post into the canal gently. Maintain firm pressure for 20-30 seconds.
STEP 8
Express
Continue to express Core-Flo DC or Core-Flo DC Lite around hte post and build up the core to the desired height and shape. Remove the excess material and light cure for 40 seconds.
