When repairing e.max and porcelain restorations, begin by applying Barrier Gel to protect exposed gingival tissue from accidental etching. Use 9.5% Porcelain Etchant on the dry porcelain surface for 90 seconds or e.max for 15 seconds. Suction the excess etchant, then rinse thoroughly with water and air dry. Follow with one coat of Porcelain Primer and allow it to dwell on the etched porcelain surface for 30 seconds, before drying the surface with an air syringe. Complete the repair by applying a thin layer of Porcelain Bonding Resin to the prepared surface. Spread a composite material evenly over the surface and light cure.
