5% Sodium Fluoride Varnish with Tri-Calcium Phosphate
FluoroCal is a 5% Sodium Fluoride Varnish with Tri-Calcium Phosphates (TCP) that is both calcium and fluoride releasing*. Upon application to dentin and enamel, FluoroCal penetrates and seals exposed dentin tubules and provides immediate sensitivity relief to hypersensitive teeth. It is available in a refreshing Spearmint flavor that is sweetened with Xylitol.
Available in spearmint and sweetened with Xylitol, ensuring better patient compliance.
Penetrates and seals dentin tubules, providing immediate relief to hypersensitive teeth.
Contains Tri-Calcium Phosphate, which has been shown to provide greater protection and acid resistance when combined with fluoride.1
Sustained fluoride release* allows fluoride to be released over a longer period of time and deposited onto the tooth.2
High enamel fluoride uptake can induce fluorapatite, which in turns helps to strengthen the tooth enamel and prevent further sensitivity.3
Simply applied with a brush, allowing for fast and easy application.
Esthetic varnish that blends with natural tooth color.
When tested, FluoroCal showed statistically higher enamel fluoride uptake than leading varnishes.4
Delivers targeted and sustained release of calcium and fluoride for over 24 hours.*
* As tested in deionized water.

What are the benefits of Tri-Calcium Phosphate in a Fluoride Varnish?
When applied to the tooth, Tri-Calcium Phosphate (TCP) allows for enhanced protection against demineralization. Studies have shown that Fluoride varnishes containing TCP can help strengthen enamel and inhibit the progression of initial primary enamel lesions.1
Is FluoroCal allergen free?
FluoroCal is both gluten and dairy-free, making it safe for patients with gluten or dairy allergies. However, FluoroCal should not be used on patients with colophonyallergies/sensitivities.
How soon after application of FluoroCal can patients eat or drink as normal?
The patient should be instructed to refrain from eating or drinking for 1 hour after application of FluoroCal.
Is prophylaxis (deep cleaning) of the teeth required before applying FluoroCal?
Only the tooth surface requires cleaning before applying FluoroCal. Prophylaxis is not required.
