Composite Surface Sealant
Fortify is a light-cured, low viscosity resin formulated for use as a composite surface sealant. A composite surface sealed with Fortify has improved wear resistance and long-term marginal integrity1. In addition, it is effective with all anterior/posterior composites resulting in enhanced wear properties.
Each 5ml bottle of Fortify can provide approximately 50 applications.

Clinical Significance:
- Contouring and finishing of posterior composite restorations with rotary instruments can create microcracks and surface irregularities that contribute to composite wear during the first six months of function. Fortify, is a surface sealant that is formulated with an unfilled resin. A composite surface sealed with Fortify has improved wear resistance and long-term marginal integrity
